Recent Programs
At “Eating for Your Health,” we are passionate about fostering a culture of healthy eating and empowering individuals to make nutritious choices – all in a non-judgmental environment.
Over the years, our programs have provided the resources and guidance for hundreds of eaters to improve their eating habits, leading them to a life where they can more effectively fuel their bodies and minds.
Here are a few programs recently delivered in collaboration with our Community Partners.
- Helping the Homeless, Newark, NJ in collaboration with the Rutgers New Jersey Medical School – “What’s on Your Plate” and Tasting
- Henry J. Austin Health Center All-Staff Meeting and Bi-Annual Training Session – What’s On Your Plate and Preparing for the Holiday Eating Season
- Millhill Child & Family Development High School Students – Snacks that Feed Your Body & Brain
- Thomas Glasser Caregivers Center at Overlook Medical Center (part of the Atlantic Health System) – Healthy Eating on the Go for Caregivers
- Byrne Seminar to Freshman Students at Rutgers University – What’s on Your Plate and a modified version of the Healthy Eating Challenge

Chronic disease affects all communities, and we know that some racial and ethnic groups have a higher incidence of chronic disease and an increased incidence of related complications.
