Ingredients
- 0.5 cup rolled oats not quick oats
- 1 cup water or unsweetened coconut or almond milk
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or butter, or fat of choice
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts optional
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds optional
- 2 tablespoons fresh blueberries optional
Instructions
- Combine oats, liquid and salt in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, and simmer for 10 mins. (Can be cooked in the microwave, covered, for 3 mins.) Stir in optional toppings. Let stand for 2 mins before serving. (Recipe♦214)
