Dark Chocolate Avocado Mousse

Ingredients
  

  • 3 avocados pitted and peeled
  • 0.5 cup cocoa powder unsweetened
  • 3 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 banana
  • 1 cup dates pit then soak in warm water for 10 mins. Drain but reserve some water
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon optional
  • 1 teaspoon instant coffee or espresso powder optional
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper optional

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Blend until smooth, adding water (from the soaked dates) 1 tablespoon at a time, for consistency.Flavor balance by adjusting salt, lemon, maple syrup and optional flavorings.  (Recipe♦359)
