Energizing "Real Food" Hot Cocoa

If you're trying to break your coffee habit, this is a terrific substitute.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup non-dairy milk almond, coconut, etc.
  • 2 tablespoons raw cacao powder
  • 1 tablespoon coconut butter/oil
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon maca powder optional
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon optional
  • 0.5 teaspoon turmeric powder optional

Instructions
 

  • Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed blender until well combined. Pour into a mug and warm up in the microwave for up to a minute. Enjoy. (Recipe♦396)
