Homemade Ketchup

Ingredients
  

  • 1 (6 oz) can tomato paste 6 oz can
  • 0.5 cup cooked, pureed carrots
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar or coconut sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 0.25 teaspoon chili powder

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a saucepan. Bring to boil over medium heat. Reduce heat and let simmer until reduced by half, about 15 mins. Let cool. Refrigerate.  (Recipe♦483)
