Jet Fuel Dressing
Derived from the original recipe developed by Canyon RanchServe with Positive Power salad.

Servings 2 cups
Ingredients
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cup red wine vinegar
- 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 cup water
Instructions
- Combine the salt and vinegar and stir until the salt is completely dissolved. Add all the remaining ingredients except the water, mix well. Add the water and mix well. Refrigerate in a tightly covered container.Variations:Italian dressing: add one tablespoon each of fresh oregano, basil, tarragon, finely chopped, or one teaspoon of each of the same herbs dried, crushing them first in a mortar and pestle.Asian dressing: add one teaspoon curry powder and 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger.Mexican dressing: add 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin.Tarragon dressing: add three tablespoons fresh tarragon, finely chopped, or one teaspoon dried, crushed in a mortar and pestle before using.
