Low Carb Cranberry Sauce

Ingredients
  

  • 12 ounces cranberries fresh or frozen
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 0.5 cup granulated monk fruit sweetener
  • 2 tablespoons orange zest from 2 navel oranges
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Combine all the ingredients in a medium saucepan and stir well. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to a gentle simmer.Simmer for 5 - 10 mins, stirring occasionally, until the cranberries pop and the sauce thickens.Remove from heat, stir a few more times, then transfer to a serving bowl and let cool.Note: To make ahead, cool to room temperature before storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator.  (Recipe♦548)
