Quick Balsamic Glaze

Ingredients
- 0.5 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup double if not using molasses
- The Basics:
- 1 tablespoon black strap molasses optional
- salt taste
- Optional Additional Flavor:
- dried rosemary or thyme chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
Instructions
- Finely mince garlic and chop rosemary or thyme if using, and stir into a small saucepan with the balsamic vinegar. Heat on low for 20 plus minutes until sauce reaches approximately half volume. (The more liquid that evaporates off, the sweeter the sauce will be). Stain out the herbs and garlic. Stir in sweeteners and salt, adjusting to taste. (Recipe #665)
