Red Cabbage & Carrot Salad 1

Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound carrots
  • 0.5 head of red cabbage
  • 0.5 cup figs chopped
  • 1 tablespoon gomasio toasted sesame seeds can also be used
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 1 orange juiced
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 0.333333 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions
 

  • Shred the carrots and cabbage in a processor. Place in a bowl and toss with the gomasio/sesame seeds and chopped figs.  Blend the lemon and orange juices with the oils, and add salt to taste. Combine with salad and serve immediately.  (Recipe #704)
