Roasted Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients
- 1 pound Brussels sprouts washed, trimmed and halved
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil or olive oil
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 0.5 teaspoon honey or 5 drops monkfruit extract
- 3 ounces bacon optional
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425. Toss Brussels sprouts with salt and oil. Roast on a parchment-lined baking sheet for 30 minutes tossing every 10 minutes or so. Season with vinegar, honey or monkfruit and salt to taste.If using bacon, chop and toss raw bacon with Brussels sprouts, salt and oil before roasting. (Recipe #719)
