Romaine & Avocado Salad with Bacon Dressing

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head of romaine lettuce washed, dried and torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 avocados peeled, pitted and cubed
  • 3 slices thick cut bacon chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Place romaine lettuce and avocado in a large salad bowl.                                                                                                                                                                                                  In a frying pan, cook bacon to desired crispness. Remove from heat and whisk in remaining ingredients. Pour warm dressing over salad. Toss and serve.  (Recipe♦733)
