Rubbed Cabbage Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 1 head of cabbage
  • 1 teaspoon Celtic sea salt
  • 0.5 cup gomasio toasted sesame seeds can also be used
  • 3 tablespoons toasted sesame oil
  • 1 lemon juiced

Instructions
 

  • Finely shred the cabbage in a processor. In two batches, combine salt and cabbage in a large bowl and massage the salt into the cabbage. Let sit for a few minutes. Drain off any water.  Combine the cabbage with the gomasio/sesame seeds, sesame oil and lemon juice, and serve.  (Recipe #735)
