Sunflower Seed Pate with Lime & Chili

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup raw sunflower seeds soaked about 4 hours in water, and drained
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
  • 8 sun-dried tomatoes soaked in water until soft
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 0.5 cup fresh cilantro leaves
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 scallion, minced

Instructions
 

  • Place all ingredients, except scallions, into the bowl of the food processor with the S blade and process until it forms a smooth pate. Garnish with scallions.  (Recipe #802)
