Tamarind Chutney

Ingredients
- 1 cup tamarind pulp
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 sliced large onions
- 0.25 cup coconut water
- 3 tablespoons lime juice
- 0.5 teaspoon salt
- cayenne or jalapeno pepper to taste
- maple syrup or agave nectar to taste
- 1 cup organic dark raisins
- 1 finely chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- Place all ingredients, except cilantro, in a blender and blend until smooth. If you want a chunkier sauce, add raisins toward the end so they don't break down all the way. Garnish with cilantro. (Recipe #820)
